1. There are two verticals Higher Degree Programs One is 3-year UG degree and 2-Year PG degree and another is 4-Year UG Degree and 1-Year PG Degree2. Students who wish to continue to the fourth year (Honours) shall be permitted to do so only after clearing all six semesters.3. Students securing more than 45% marks shall be eligible to pursue the Honours Degree program.4. Students securing more than 75% marks shall be eligible to pursue Honours with Research.5. Interim arrangements of college either existing staff or shall appoint three faculty members for the program.6. Colleges shall also be given option if they wish to appoint:
- Two Research Associates (NET/SLET/PhD qualified) for Honours by Research or One Research Associate and One Research Assistant for Honours in the subjects concerned.
- One Research Associate/Research Assistant* in the field of Al, possessing at least a master's degree
7. Colleges may collect fees for the 7th and 8th semesters in accordance with the fee structure of the 5th and 6th semesters. The remuneration of the appointed faculty members shall be paid by these fees. This shall be an interim arrangement till regular staff approved by government.*Note: Research Associate (NET/SLET/PhD qualified) with a salary of ₹40,000 per month onwards. Research Assistant (PG) with a salary of 22,500 per month onwards.The curriculum of the 4th Year UG Honours Programme shall not be the same as the curriculum of the currently running PG First Year Programme.
